The tutoring fee structure is dependent on the grade you tutor as well as your qualifications. Please register to see your exact earning potential.
A once-off admin fee is payable ONLY once we have successfully placed you in your first position. This fee is to offset the costs incurred by TutorBox in processing your application and doing relevant checks such as Police Clearance etc.
You require a valid driver’s license and a roadworthy vehicle for au pairing positions and a reliable means of transport for tutoring positions. Your own car is definitely preferable.
You need to have a Matric Certificate or an equivalent certification to apply for TutorBox positions. This excludes nanny and domestic workers. Tutors however, must have received a distinction or a minimum mark of at least 75% in the subjects they wish to tutor or need to be studying or have studied an educational degree or diploma.
Yes, all your contact details are kept private. We shall only use your personal data in the course of the performance of the provision of TutorBox services for the benefit of you or the client.
No, you will not require full availability to be placed in a position. Many of our positions are for mornings or afternoons, evenings or weekends. We also, to the best of our ability, will work around your schedule when placing you.
All permanent position salaries are payable to you directly by the client on a monthly basis on a mutually agreeable date (Normally between the 25th and the last day of the month).
